Psychic Criminology: An Operations Manual for Using Psychics in Criminal Investigations Hibbard, Whitney S., and Worring, Raymond W.
The authors, past co-chairpersons of the Missoula City/County Crime Attack Team, report on five years of experience in mobilizing psychics for use in criminal investigations. The purpose of this book is to provide interested parties with the necessary background and procedures to establish an effective working relationship with proven psychics. The authors give a brief history of psychic criminology and an introduction to parapsychology. The bulk of the book is a practical manual for identifying, recruiting, testing, and employing psychics as criminal investigators and examples from actual cases are given. One of the chapters is devoted to Stanford’s PMIR model as providing a framework in which to view synchronistic happenings in daily life that may guide the investigator in tracking down criminals.
