Our Psychic PotentialsRogo, D. Scott
Rogo divides this book on psychic development into two main parts. In the first he provides an overview of parapsychological studies that provide evidence that psi ability exists and that it can be used on demand and possibly developed, especially in association with various altered states of consciousness. In the second he explores specific psychic development techniques and shows the reader how he or she can use this material in a systematic program of self-testing and psi training. An effort is made throughout to only present suggestions that are based on the findings of laboratory experiments. Specific areas dealt with are dreams and ESP, mental imagery techniques, relaxation, suggestion, and feedback. There also is a critical chapter on mind training courses. There are two appendices, the first presenting a method for judging free-response material and the second discussing drugs and ESP.
