Psi: Scientific Studies of the Psychic Realm

Tart, Charles T.

Although this book is an account of the author's research and thinking about psi, it can also be viewed as a parapsychological autobiography of this well-known parapsychologist, psychologist, and pioneer in altered states research. There are five chapters in the first part dealing with models of psi operation, the fifth of which, "Altered States of Consciousness and Psi," is an important contribution. Part II, "Studies," consists of four chapters on his research. The final part, "Speculation," concerns the nature of consciousness and of psi.
