Biological Anomalies: Humans II. A Catalog of Biological AnomaliesCorliss, William R.
The seemingly inexhaustible William Corliss continues his series of books cataloging anomalies, this one centered on human biological anomalies involving internal structures, systems, and chemistry, including "health" in the broadest sense. Categories cataloged that may relate to exceptional human experience are electric and magnetic people, anomalous human combustion, retarded bodily decay, cancer and other remissions, the pineal gland, phantom limbs, and that the capability of the human brain greatly exceed requirements for survival. All of Corliss’s books could be described as reference books that are fun to read.
