Ahead of Myself: Confessions of A Professional PsychicRobbins, Shawn, as told to Milton Pearce
This autobiography is especially insightful into the vocational problems involved in being psychic. This not only involves finding a way to make a living as a psychic but, before that, discovering that one is psychic and the difficulty involved with "coming out" as a psychic. She describes some of her major predictions and also makes 59 predictions for the next decade. Many of these involve scientific discoveries or world events that could be inferred from facts already known. A section is devoted to noticing whether one is psychic and how to develop psychic ability. Robbins is not afraid to stress the fact that psychic ability is best when it rests on a foundation of normally acquired information.
