Beyond Coincidence: One Man's Experiences with Psychic PhenomenaTanous, Alex, with Ardman, Harvey
Alex Tanous is a psychic who has a doctorate of divinity, formerly taught theology and philosophy, and who now makes his living as a lecturer. In this book Tanous provides an autobiography that stresses the conflict he had in younger years because his psi ability made him "different." He also gives examples of the various ways in which his psi ability has been expressed: precognition, psychic diagnosis and healing, psychic photography, out-of-body experiences, and communication with the dead. Most importantly, he devotes considerable space to describing the scientific investigations in which he has served as subject, those conducted by Dr. Karlis Osis at the American Society for Psychical Research in particular. Also useful are his comments on how it feels to receive psi impressions and his suggestions for developing psi ability.
