The Geller EffectGeller, Uri, & Playfair, Guy Lyon
Part I of this autobiographical/biographical treatment of Uri Geller is by popular writer Guy Lyon Playfair. Part II is by Geller and Part III again by Playfair. The book as a whole is aimed at familiarizing the reader with what has happened to Geller since he published My Story. The arrangement is more or less chronological. Part I recapitulates Geller's psychic life through 1975. Then, in the longest part, Geller relates what he has done during the previous decade, including business applications of psi, such as aerial prospecting for minerals, PK-ing computer operations, and dabbling in Middle East politics. In the last five chapters Playfair describes the present status of parapsychology, some firsthand experiences with Geller, and confronts Geller's critics.
