Anthropologist/author Grossinger examines the New Age from a critical stance, sifting through the shallow in search of new insights and perceptions. He provides a history of the New Age from the 60s through the 80s. He deals also with those who are bent solely on debunking it. He honors exceptional human experiences such as psychic experiences and UFO encounters, but questions our understanding of them. He finds that the concerns of the New Age are part of the human condition in all times. The important thing is to discover who we are and to open our hearts. - R.A.W.
