This book is based on a course on the occult taught by two physicists at Fairleigh Dickinson University who show how the scientific method may be applied to all kinds of phenomena, "internal" and "external," and that while many strange happenings can be explained away, others may have a basis in fact. Included in the latter category are several parapsychological phenomena. This is a useful introduction to the scientific method as applied in parapsychology and to "unexplained" phenomena in general.
