Psi and the Consciousness ExplosionHolroyd, Stuart
This book by a British author proposes that parapsychology is of central importance in establishing a radically new image of humans in the universe. Holroyd feels that a changed view of human nature is essential if humans are to survive on this planet. He presents basic parapsychological findings and then relates them to innovations in other fields such as physics, philosophy and psychology. Other books are better at documenting parapsychological data but Holroyd does an excellent job of pointing out the importance of these data and placing them in a larger perspective.
