Double VisionCohen, Tamara, & Skutch, Judith
This clever, enjoyable, informative book is a joint autobiography by parapsychologist/promoter Skutch and her daughter by her first marriage. Ms. Cohen provides many recollections of how it feels to grow up psychic and to participate as a subject in psi experiments. Most of her spontaneous psi experiences had to do with members of her family and they often illustrated aspects of the dynamics of the mother-child relationship. Ms. Cohen's remarks are of value especially because they often are quoted from diary notes written near the time of the experience described. Skutch outlines how her interest in parapsychology became kindled and how she served as a catalyst and educator, culminating with her involvement in A Course in Miracles, which she now publishes. There is much humor, wisdom, and humanity in this book, which deserves a wide readership.
