Living the Questions: Studies in the Childhood of Religious Experience

Robinson, Edward (Ed.).

Twelve interviews with persons investigated by the Religious Experience Research Unit in England are presented, emphasizing spiritual experiences of childhood. The principal emphasis is on spiritual growth, and the author views the book as an attempt to glimpse a possible developmental psychology of the spirit. The persons interviewed were from various walks of life (a professor, two students, a journalist, a farmer, a retired race horse trainer, an industrial relations consultant, a teacher) and the interviews are arranged according to the ages of those involved, starting with the youngest.
