Homage to the Sun: The Wisdom of the Magus of Strovolos

Markides, Kyriacos C.

In 1985 sociologist Markides wrote a biographical study of the psychic, mystic, and spiritual healer Daskalos entitled The Magus of Strovolos (Routledge & Kegan Paul). This is to some extent a continuation of that book, but it can stand alone. It is a phenomenological study of Daskalos' teachings based as transcripts and notes. Among other subjects dealt with are healing, guardian angels, the initiation of the mystic, and teachings regarding "three bodies." Some guided meditations are presented. A glossary is included that serves to illumine Daskalos' teachings.
