Getting Help From Your Dreams

Reed, Henry

Review of approaches to dreams that the author has created or developed. It begins, appropriately, with his personal story, and how he became interested in dreams. He has tried out all the techniques described, beginning with how to remember dreams. There are four chapters on dream techniques: dreams as theater, dream pillow technique, dream incubation, and a model of group dream problem solving for one person who has presented a problem to the group. The last section has five chapters on different forms of creative play with dreams: inspirational writing, Haiku dream realization, the dream drawing story game, dream shields, and the art of dream realization. Reed writes from experience with his own dreams and in working with both individuals and groups.
