This is a Festschrift in honor of George Zorab, "the oldest living parapsychologist," according to F.W.J.J. Snel. Snel provides an overview of Zorab's life and work. The other contributors and their contributions are "George Zorab and Katie King, by J. Beloff; "Healer and Healings," by J. Kappers; "The Enigma of Sublimation" by E. Servadio; a brief "Contribution" from B. Inglis on D.D. Home; "Toward a Non-Boolean Hypothesis of Psi-Phenomena," by C.T.K. Chari; and—the most substantial piece—"Neglected Figures in the History of Parapsychology, I. Some General Reflections," by G.H. Hövelmann; P.C. Van der Sijde provides a 360-item bibliography of Zorab's work that spans 50 years, yet the compiler does not consider it complete. | |
