Parapsychology and Human Nature: Proceedings of an International Conference Held in Washington, D.C. November 1-2, 1986Shapin, Betty, & Coly, Lisette | |
This conference celebrated the 35th year of the Parapsychology Foundation. Eight papers were given over a two-day period plus opening and closing remarks by Stanley Krippner and the texts of general discussions held on both days. Rhine: Two Complementary Approaches to the Phenomenology of the Paranormal" by Richard Noll; "Directly Detectable Psychokinetic Effects: A New Category of Psychokinesis" by Julian Isaacs; "Paranormal Ability—A "Normal" Human Trait" by Elizabeth E. Mintz; "Enlightenment, Altered States of Consciousness and Parapsychology" by Charles T. Tart; and "Towards a Place for Psi-chology in a Revisioned Psychology: History of Ideas and Memory of Things" by Myron M. Arons. | |
